This highly concentrated paste with sugar and sweetener is adored for its ability to add lucid colours, making your cupcakes, macarons, desserts and cakes vividly magnificent with the use of only a small amount.
Use a toothpick to apply colour to your icing - use a new toothpick each time to maintain the colour of your Wilton icing colouring and continue to apply & mix until youre happy with the shade. Carefully mix colours for a specific shade if necessary, but remember that colours deepen over time, so always apply with caution.

To use:
Start with enough icing to cover the entire area.
Dip a toothpick into the colour, then blend it into the icing.
Add colour a little at a time until you achieve the shade you desire. Always use a new toothpick each time you add colour. Blend well.

Disclaimer: Some icing colours require a higher volume of colouring in order to achieve a vibrant colour to your icing than others; for royal icing, apply more colour than usual to reach your desired shade.
